BarterPay is Partnering with organizations in our community to introduce the Hamilton/Halton Small Business Grant opportunity. Combined, we are giving away over $2,000,000 in BarterPay Credits to local businesses.

What is BarterPay?

We are a Social Impact Enterprise that helps business owners across the country get what they need so that they don’t have to spend their money. Instead they are able to pay for these things using their own products, services, down time or what we call spare capacity. For more details on who we are visit: Barterpay.ca/learn

Am I Eligible?

The BarterPay Small Business Barter Grant is available to all businesses that meet the following criteria:

  • The business is located in Hamilton or Halton Region.

  • The business employs 1-50 people.

  • Is a sole proprietorship or registered business in Ontario and/or is incorporated.

  • Is open for business/operating or is planning to open within 90 days of application.

  • Provides a quality good and/or service with positive reviews and easily accessible contact information.

  • Has a website showcasing the business' products/services and/or has at least one social media page (Facebook, Instagram etc).
